Key Responsibilities (Include, but not limited to):
– Maintain the health and reliability of systems/components and identify and respond to threats to reliability specific to individual systems and cross-cutting threats to reliability that impact multiple systems.
– Calibration and troubleshooting of instruments and signal transmission measuring: flow, pressure/vacuum, level, gas composition, chemical composition, auto-analyzers, temperature, moisture/humidity, position, vibration, voltage/current/power, automatic valves, modulating valves, etc.
– Tuning of control automation via SCADA/PLC/HMI system including PID algorithms.
– Troubleshooting and service of 480-volt 3 phase power systems, motor controls and motor automation, reduced voltage starters, autotransformers.
– Evaluate systems/component types through proactive performance monitoring and trending of the performance of assigned systems/components
– Identify adverse trends and proactively initiate actions to prevent system performance
degradation or component failures.
– Identify system or component conditions or deficiencies that can impact system operation and notify Operations or management as appropriate.
– Training of facility staff – Interface with other departments for cost effective maintenance strategies on assigned systems/area. Provide technical support in the preparation of procedure revisions or temporary changes to procedures.
– Perform causal analysis of equipment and system/area deficiencies and failures and determine corrective actions to resolve.
– Prioritize / establish action plans to address deficiencies on assigned systems/areas via the corrective action and work management processes.
– Provide technical support in the preparation and execution of complex work packages on assigned systems/component, as required.
– Maintain thorough knowledge of programs, codes, standards, and operating experience and how they relate to the plant.
– Perform safety evaluation screening, disposition of nonconformance reports, disposition Requests for Resolution (RFRs) to include Engineering Evaluations, Setpoint Changes, Minor Modifications, and Material Equivalencies for equipment within assigned system/area/component groups.
– Travel to multiple project locations for construction, commissioning, start-up and on short term basis occupy temporary living arrangements within 1 hour drive of the project. Project locations will be in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia.
– Use remote access to log in to facility automation and Support Maintenance and Operations in system troubleshooting and provide system/ component/ discipline expertise for troubleshooting significant events or complex plant problems, and decision-making.
– Assist and oversee the data backup and data records at multiple facilities.
– Be available for call up or call ins after hours and on weekends.
– Support changes in configuration/design and design basis.
Qualifications:
– Four-year degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
– Mastery of current state of the art in facility automation including SCADA/PLC/HMI systems and all instrumentation.
– Five years’ experience working with instrumentation and facility automation in an industrial workplace.
Required Skills/Abilities:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Thorough understanding of test methods, digital and analog circuit design computers, and the design, development, and application of a wide variety of instruments.
– Thorough understanding of applied math and physics.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Location: Remote. Must be willing to travel to corporate offices located in Georgia & Charlotte when required.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000/yr

Key Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
– This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the anaerobic digester and support equipment.
– Using the maintenance software package, maintain a plan for scheduled preventive/predictive maintenance of all equipment.
– Using the maintenance software package keep records of all work performed, manhours expended, and parts consumed on all maintenance activities.
– Perform hands-on corrective and preventive and predictive maintenance as needed.
– On as-needed basis assist with operations and laboratory duties.
– Prepare equipment service reports for submission to Sustain RNG management.
– On as-needed basis assist with facility housekeeping.
– Provide ownership of safety guidelines and follow safe practices in all work.
– Assist facility supervision with monitoring of the biological and mechanical processes.
– Be available for call-in response after hours and on weekends.
Qualifications:
– Five years’ experience in equipment maintenance at an environmental facility or manufacturing facility which had equipment operated by SCADA/PLC automation.
– Functional knowledge of 480-volt 3 phase equipment and motor controls and ability to start, shutdown, lockout electrical equipment.
– Experience with all shop tools and best work practices.
– Demonstrated knowledge and ability in service and overhaul of pumps, compressors, motors, conveyors, valves, piping, heat exchangers, heat exchangers, including equipment automation.
– Desirable 2-year degree in trade school or technical college.
